Ingrid Sommar is a journalist and author with a great interest in the connection between design and various lifestyles. She regularly contributes to magazines such as Arkitektur and since the 1990s has written about a dozen books including Stockholm Modern, Ø-Design, Scandinavian Style, Funkis, stilen som byggde Sverige and Klassiska kaféer i Europa. She previously worked for ten years in the field of research information.
Susanne Helgeson is a journalist and author with a design focus. Trained as an economist, she worked in marketing before being editor of Form Design Magazine from 1998 to 2007. She has previously published several books, including Swedish Design (2002). She is now a freelance writer with a special interest in design research, and currently has a half-time position at the Swedish Faculty for Design Research and Research Education at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
